the National Association of Women Artists was founded in 1889. it
is the oldest professional women's fine art organization in the
United States. it draws artists from all over and has had many
notable members since it's inception.
Longyear Gallery was founded in September 2007 as a cooperative
venture operated by and serving the needs of a group of 25+
regional artists. It is located in a historic building in
Margaretville, NY, part of the Catskill Mountain region.
